The Wait Time & Status Display is specifically designed for work zones in which the opposing signal is out of view. Real-time information is provided to the motorist to discourage red light violations.
This device increases overall work zone safety for the worker and the motorist. The WTSD is typically affixed to the Horizon PTS and is avialble in various sizes to accomodate specific application requirements.
How It Works
The Motorist is provided real-time information as it becomes available, including the time remaining until the next signal status change. The messages can be customized to address specific work zone applications.
In the event of a flash mode, a customized message can be displayed.
